Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Meat Department Supervisor to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the meat department, ensuring high-quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Meat Team Members to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks and activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance overall department performance.
• Collaborate with Team Trainers to deliver comprehensive training programs that promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Manage and maintain accurate records, including inventory levels, sales data, and customer feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and open communication.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and company policies to ensure compliance and best practices.Requirements
  • 12+ months retail experience, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of meat products, department procedures, and customer service principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations-related applications.Working ConditionsThis role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a wet and cold environment. Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters and electric pallet jacks.
